Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to all of you readers, and thanks to all of those who have purchased our books, and watched our videos. 2009 is going to be the year RMM takes off and running. I’m working on some equipment possibilities that will greatly expand our production of video presentations, and am planning on dropping some other projects not directly related to RMM so that I can finally concentrate on the business end of things.

Another project I have assembled in Maine Habitat Minutes, which is a video program sharing Maine’s outdoor possibilities. We have many birding and travel clips that we will be posting at www.mainehabitatminutes.com for your enjoyment.

As far as the Salt & Pines books go, I have decided to publish wholly under the RMM banner. Two out of the three publishers I have been speaking with have indicated that they may be shuttering their businesses in the new year and have declined any new projects. So, given the economic climate today, there is a better chance of promoting the project in the way it was designed to be promoted by doing it 100% in house. Except for the printing and shipping part. The printing equipment starts at around ¾ of a million dollars to just get going, so no printing, for now.

Anyways, again have a happy New Years, and raise a glass to a beneficial year for all.
